Hi, I recently upgraded my ibook to ~700mb RAM and bought a 2nd hand iMic. Problem is that I experience pretty poor latency when monitoring the recordings live. Is it my ibook or imic that is the cause of this latency? It's bad enough that I can't use Logic Express 7 (as I play live piano and the delay drives me mad) and garage band is just a fraction better. Is it the cheap iMic to blame - hope so - cheaper to replace than an ibook!! Would i be better off with a more expensive soundcard? Any help would be great! Thanks, Anderz |
