Two questions.... Are the ibooks powereful and equipped enough for me to run Logic Pro 7.0 mainly to do roughs of tracks to come back home to 1.8 dual?

the iBook will be fine, with a fast external drive.
You can install Logic on both machines, and move to XSKey to the machine you are using. the only way to get another key is to purchase Logic again.
