I've searched but haven't found any threads on using a new iMac as a DAW. Is there anyone out there doing this? I am leaning towards buying the 20-inch model. My needs are very modest. Just single tracking on my own.
Endorsements? Warnings? Thanks. |

Single tracking should be no problem at all. Plenty of power to spare! just pour some Ram in it, OS X LOVES ram.
Now, iMacs are slow to come in town so maybe that's why no-one answered. i've got hold of an old mono 1.8 G5 myself a week ago (Apple didn't sent me a DP 2,5 so I managed something else
