Though great mechanics the NUMA does not support "Note-Off Velocity" (a.k.a. "Key-Off-" or "Release-Velocity"). Poor imho, if they say it would be "setting a new standard in music control" while the Studio88 had this feature 20 years ago. Answer by fatar: wouldn't be economical because of the customers don't asking for it. Of course not! Most userBs haven't even heard of it. But state of the art VST-Instruments support it. Why "Note-Off Velocity"?In recording classical music or Jazz (let’s say every piece of ambitious piano music) there’s no use for a keyboard that does not support the correct ending of a note (eg when ending a phrase or when distinguishing the musical character). Also in popular music it’s a loss if you are not able to create these nuances. Buy something cheaper and wait for fatar to bring an instrument less of a compromise. The SL990Pro for example has indeed no Note-Off Velocity either, but the keyboard is only slightly worse. Upper-class Stage pianos by Roland support Note-Off Velocity, but if you just need a controller-keyboard it's too expensive.
