i`m considering buying one of these for various other reasons(i can`t afford a powerbook)...anyway, i was wondering what the prospects for audio production are using one of these? would you recommend it for audio production running os 9? also, i notice that there is no audio in port. is there any external devices which could connect with the usb or firewire port which allow for audio input.cheerz

I'm also looking at at the 14' iBook, and similarly concerned if it has the power for waht I need. All signs seem to be pointing to yes so far...
As for audio input, the Griffin iMic is a great device to start with - great price/performance ratio. It'll get you going until you can buy a MOTU 828!
