Format Bwf : Lecture + Conversion / Freeware, recherche solution Options

Bonjour et d'avance merci à celui ou celle qui pourra m'aider,

on m'a refilé des fichiers son au format bwf (interview radio) sur un CD. Jen e dispose d'aucune appli pour les lire. J'ai essayé une version d'essai de Barabarbatch mais il ne reconnait pas les fichiers non plus.

Existe-t-il une solution pour que je n'ai pas à harceler le journaliste qui a bien voulu me passer ces enregistrements ?

"BWF ( WAVE - Broadcast Wave Format )


The BWF format is an extension of the very common WAV format used on PCs for many years, and which has recently become more common on Macs. Although the basic WAV format holds no great value for Mac users, the BWF extension to this format finally brings a universal, industry standard way to store and retrieve the metadata which we need for a sound effects library. Most software which can read WAV files, can also read BWF files, and those apps which understand the BWF extension will also gain access to the metadata. BWF does not rely on resources, so once again, its 'web-friendly'. Of the 3 formats above, in most cases, we would strongly recommend choosing BWF for your library. The only reason NOT to choose BWF would be if your audio workstation was not able to read BWF files, and you are not using an intermediate solution like mTOOLS to deliver your Sound effects to your editor."


Pour ma part je pense qu'avec protools ou quicktime tu peux ouvrir ces fichiers.

Ni quicktime ni Protools ne peuvent ouvrir ce format.
Je viens d'essayer Cacophony sans succès non plus.

Comme il s'agit d'une version radio, c'est donc certainement du BWF compressé en MPEG II, l'ennui, c'est que ces codecs sont payants et comme ils sont rarement utilisés, sauf par les pros, peu de logiciels l'incluent en standard. Barbabatch 4.0 est censé les lire mais je ne sais pas si la démo le fait vraiment.

Sinon tu peux charger la démo de Peak 4, pas la version LE, mais je ne sais pas si les versions MPEGII sont prises en charge, tu as 15 jours d'utilisations gratuite, donc le temps d'exporter en autre chose.
