Have an Ibook with OSX and its' supplied OSX software and installation disks...can I install OSX from those disks to work on my G4 powermac? Thus making my system more efficient to run logic 6.

Try it...
Some disks are "keyed" to the specific unit for which they are Created... If not - You'll know in minutes... It won't damage your other unit... It will just say "you can't install this here"... -------------------- |

BTW, from the Apple license it's not legal.
Save that, riverdog is perfectly right, but you should have another license for the OS… -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

My apologies...
You are correct in that assertion... For the last two system upgrades I purchased the 5 license packages... -------------------- |
