I'm doing a live show with a Yamaha 01V.
While there'e going to be a big change in the show and we'll be switching between the new and old situation I had the idea to completely dump the old situation and restore it lateron from the dump.
My question is how to do it?

I'm using a powerbook (osx.3) and a digi002Rack.
Do I need some additional software or is it possible in protools?

Thnx for helping me out.

I do not know what a situation is but you should be able to dump all of the O1/V settings via MIDI into whatever DAW you are using. Try this:

1. Record enable a MIDI track and make sure that your DAW is set to record from the O1/V (MIDI Cables must be connected too).
2. On the O1/V go to MIDI Page 4 and move the cursor to transmit.
3. In the DAW press record.
4. On the O1/V press enter.

The O1/V transmit the current scene to the DAW which then records it. To restore all settings simply play back the recorded sysex.
