 M-audio Fw 410 Midi Problems, sticking midi notes with 410 and reason |

When using the FW 410 with Reason 2.5 I have the following problems...1.midi works poorly with sticking notes (continue to sound after key is up)
2. dropped notes (notes don't sound) and delayed notes I hooked up a tascam usb 224 for the midi and it works fine so it seems to be an issue with the fw 410 and not the software or the mac itself. I'm using a G4 1.25 dual with plenty of ram and a Korg n1 as a controller The m-audio tech support has been responsive and had me download the latest driver for my OS (10.2.8) I installed this and it helps a little but I still get sticking notes and the tracking is sluggish. So for now I use the Tascam as an expensive midi interface and the 410 for the audio. Anyone else have these problems with the FW410 thanks Jeff |
