what do i need to know about running a digi 001 with protools LE together with a motu av usb on a 933 G4 with macos 9.2?
oms studio setup is ending up in a total freeze everytime i try to configure it. i don't need protools for midi, i just need it for audio recording. all midi gear runs through the motu. cheers -------------------- amedeo tortora

I would suggest just using the midi port on the Digi001 unless one port is not enough for your work. I have used a Roland USB 2 port midi interface with my Digi001 and had no problems.
The only thing I can suggest is to get rid of your MOTU preferences and drivers and then try to config OMS again... does it crash? if no, then its your MOTU device and drivers probably that are causing problems. If it still crashes after drivers removed then you have some system issues that maybe need Norton Disk Doctor attention or you have some extension conflicts. If you still can't figure it out... then I would contact MOTU and seek support relating to your problem. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
