I have a bunch of ols SVP files on cd that I need to get out of this now dead program into a newer format. Opcaode.com is dead, and my install key disc is toast. Any suggestions?

Only thing I can think of.
Open the files/projects in SVP on a somewhat older Mac. Export midi-info as standard midifiles. Export audio as aif/wave-files or whatever is possible. Save it to cd or over networkfolder if avalaible. Open related midi-files in DP4 import related audiofiles, all in the same project. Save the project in DP4. Start to redo mix & automation data etc - and save. A lot of work and it's cumbersome. You need to get a working SVP first. Cheers: Dixiechicken -------------------- ==================

I still use it too sometimes on my OS 9 partition, which I still use for most audio duties. I use it to check my SMFs. It may help to rap with some Studio Vision super fans. I found these two sites and these cats/gals are still pushing and pulling with SVP. They have all kinds of info and a free permanent and fully functional demo version of the program to download.
