I'm somewhat new to MIDI so this might be a dumb question. Here's what I'm working with. Keyboard: Casio WK-1630, MIDISport 1x1 connected to USB port of my G4 iMac. Software: iPiano. Here's the problem. When the sound plays through my computer speakers, theres WAY too much reverb. I can't even use the sustain pedal when playing the piano tone. The reberb drowns out all the other notes. Is there a way to use the pedal without having this problem? Thanks.

There aren't any prefs dealing with increasing/decreasing the reverb in iPiano. What are some of the best free/cheap MIDI recording programs out there?

Intuem? I won't say it's the best, but it's certainly cheap. Maybe try a demo first.
