Are your inputs assigned to output 1-2?
I think by default they are not assigned to an output when you create a new input object. Just above the the pan and volume settings you can see the pop up box where output should be assigned. Also in your "Audio Hardware and drivers" you need to have software monitoring enabled. |

E rouge,
Are you able to put Logic's effects on your supernova synth outputs via logic's audio input objects "live"? format j |

my supernova generates midi...... logic controls my supernova...
for me to use lgoics "live" inputs, I would have to record my midi to audio...if thats what you mean.... |

You can actually use logic's audio "input" objects to monitor audio from your synth and also to add effects "live" without having to record the audio signal from your supernova to disk.
Do you have any "Audio Input" objects (not audio "track" objects) in the audio layer of your environment, or in the Track Mixer of Logic (click on "Input" on your track mixer)? If not, open the audio layer of your environment. Choose New>Audio Object. Double click on this object. In the parameter box on the left of the environment assign "Cha" to Input Stereo>Input 3-4. Assign the output of "Input object 3-4" to "output 1-2" in the pop up box above meters and pan control. In your "Audio Hardware and drivers" you need to have software monitoring enabled. You should be able to then insert an effect on audio input 3-4 and hear it live. This is what I was trying to explain to you before, just wondering whether you tried it. I hope this makes sense. |
