Hey,
I reinstalled the Mac. I updated the Mac OS X 10.4.8 with the 10.4.9 combo update. I installed the ProTools LE 7.0 and updated it to 7.1 Still not working!! QUOTE (lepetitmartien @ Thu 5 Apr 2007, 18:41)  I checked as I could around here (in the French forums), it seems there's issues on the way people do the update to 10.4.9. A "combo" update (the combo updater is available at Apple download) should make things go back to normal. Now I can't be definite on the PT version, but 7.1 and up are ok seemingly. there's some blur on the edges here.
Can someone confirm? Before making the update, check your drive and permissions with the Apple disk utility, apply the combo, recheck the permissions. It smooths out any issue in this direction. |

10.4.8 is the recommended OS for ProTools at the moment. You may need to wipe / reinstall your Mac to get it back to this version. You can still get an Intel Combo update for this from Apple:
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/mac...pdateintel.html As you have ProTools 7.1 you should update to ProTools M-Powered 7.1.1 for Intel based Macs: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=...p;categoryid=36 Hopefully this will sort you out. We have users under 10.4.9 and it works fine
 I just checked the compato page at Digidesign and it's 7.1.1 for PT LE at least for Intel macs. I'm checking with users under 10.4.9 right now and I get back to you. Works in this configs:
