Does anyone know when the upgrade will be out? Also what the discounted price will be for recent PT buyers?

mixfisto, dont be in a hurry for this upgrade, there is a rumor around that digidesign will offer a special discount for recent PT 7 buyers.

zeze, i hope you are right. that's what i thought too until i spoke with somone over at the digidesign tech support today and he told me there would be no discount... of course he either might not know or the employees might be told to keep it quiet.. who knows. I do hope that there is a discount. the unfortunate truth is that i would probably still pay a few hundred dollars for the higher track count and beat detective multi-channel upgrade seeing that it would allow me to compete with HD systems... we'll see
anyone else know anything??? |

I looked at the bundles, but if you have an 002 the price point is very close to the Logic Pro/Apogee setup.
think I'm going the Apogee/Logic route, it's modular and can grow with me over time.
