 Best Ata Controller For Mac B&w / 5.2.1 |

I've upgraded a B&W 350 with a 650mhz G4 processor and have been getting fantastic results recording to an external firewire drive. (Using PTLE 5.2.1). However, Digidesign says I'll get much better performance recording to an internal ATA drive. My question: Which ATA PCI controller card is the best for my situation? An ACARD AEC-6280M gave me all kinds of errors and wasn't half as good as my firewire recordings. Any thoughts?
