You'll need one of the following interfaces I believe:
Digi 002, Digi 002 Rack, Mbox. Check out: http://www.digidesign.com/ Presumably any external firewire audio interface should do. Motu 828 as an example. http://www.motu.com/ As long as you have the proper latest drivers for the fw-interface. You cannot mount any extra PCI-card inside the Mac Mini. ..Hi! guys..
I think the way to look at the Mac Mini is as a powerbook without the screen and the keyboard.. and the mouse pad and some other little things like some ports but ... So "would a powerbook run protools LE"...?!.. sure... only you have to deal with the same issues as in a powerbook... ram memory, HD speed...etc... It seems the major drawback.. on the Mac Mini is the supouselly total dependency on Apple for harware update... because the little thing has a case put together with clips..just like the IPOD.. which is a pain in the eye.. to deal with... well I could open and fix my Ipod.. so the little thing..shouldn't be that much hassle... if I ever would have one actually...heh.. But I bet the Mac Mini can handle Protools no problem... with a setup close to it's original standard factory especs... just throw a little ram.... Cheers guys... -------------------- Powerbook 17" G4 1,5 Ghz and LOGIC
