I am seeing more djs at bars and clubs using laptops to play their music, I can imagine how much easier it is for them to just carry around a laptop instead of a ton of records or cds. I was just wandering if anyone has any information on how I can start this up. Like what kind of equipment I would need, what is good software to use. Basically the only thing I have is a Powerbook right now. So any info you can give me would help out alot, or if you know of any websites that could assist me with this.

Hello BlackCross, try these links. By far Final Scratch is the best and will earn you the most respect from "real" DJs like me who practice the old school art with decks and vinyl! Check it out here: http://www.finalscratch.com/fs4/start.asp

But these are also viable options...
