Looking For Audio Converter

Hi everybody, i need an Audio Converter Software for OSX. Before buying one of the many that are out there, i would like to know what's your opinion within this matter.

I need one that can convert almost any kind of format to almost any one that exist, even for PC. One that runs smoothly, and that of course would be the best price-performance choice.
