Express Sample Folder (7.0)

After downloading Express 7 I cannot absolutely find any smaples in the sampler instrument folder. I tried to put misc. samples in this folder and work it together with EXSP24 and ES1 - ESM instruments, but I am having no luck. The sound effects work fine but there are no samples to show for, even if I reinstall the whole program. Is there a website source I can download directly from Apple or do I need to tweak something in Express ?

Midi Keyboards

Ok my budget is @$250 max and need semi-weighted keys with some true poly-sounds embedded. I am looking for some good string and D&B sounds to complement some finishing touches i have before my final mix down. I have seen the expensive and Roland Korg lines, and the low range Studiologic's, but will this give me the bang for the buck ? It also needs to be 88 keys with hopefully a MIDI thru option.

Resurrection Of Os9 Apps For L. Express Osx

Hey all:

I am getting back into the groove again and I am running a MAC G4 867 (640 Ram)
AUDIO: DELTA 66 CARD feeding a samson 80 watt amp (RCA and 1/4)
I have now have Logic Express 7 installed. I was using Cubase 5.0 3 years ago.

Ques.
1) Will Logic Exp. import my old Halion os9 banks. (probably not ? but who knows these days)

2) I have a Boss Guitar effects processor with MIDI thru. Can I use this for MIDI operation ? (feed: keyboard midi out - boss processor midi thru - samson amp - delta sound card - computer) Or, do I need to get a new midi interface such as Firewire audiofile, Mbox etc.. ? If so, will this help with latency ?

3) Do I need to install any MIDI compliant or ASIO software or do i just plug in and record ? My Audio perferences are already enabled with the Delta card.
