Converter-transformator 110v To 220v

hi,
has anyone got experience with product for US voltage 110V useing in Europe 220V?

I'm in US for a one more month and I'l like to buy these products.
1.mackie HR824,monitors
2.Lexicon MX-200,ef.procesor
3.E-mu 1820m,sound card

is it enough to get just a Voltage converter-transformator from 110V to 220V??
of course converter has to be strong enough for the power of monitors (260W).

I need advice, what monitors should I go for. My room is 5m x 3 ,5m:
I got memmo that 8" for that small room has too strong bass...???

1.mackie 624 or 824?
2.dynaudio bm6a or bm5a?
3. which one do you recomend in case I go for 6", mackie 624 or Dynaudio bm5a?

Cubase Sx Or Logic Pro 7

Hi,
I'm new in this and need some opinions. I'd like to know who actually switched from Cubase to Logic and why?What is the main reason and what are the options? I'm thinking to buy a powerbook, but Cubase is more sympatic to me,that can run on PC and Mac. Is the Logic better software to create an electronic music (ambient)than Cubase and why?

Built A Studio?

Hi all musicfans, I'd like to get some recomendations from you.
1.) I'm thinking about to built my home studio. Is the Logic pro 7 running good on Imac? or do I need to buy definatly powerMac? From beginning I was thinking about PoweBook G4, 1,67Ghz, but looks like even those are not stabille...?So what is the best choise to create a music in Logic, might use also Cubase as well.
2.)What do you think about TAPCO S8 monitors? for this setup
3.)I already got M-audio,USB Quattro interface for a two years.I was using that mostly just to play the trax from the laptop PC. Is this interface compatible to Logic and Macs well?
