"cubase Resources Could Not Be Found?"

Hello, i'm running a power mac G4 with cubase vst 5.0. I have just installed version 5.1 but when i try and open it the text "The file cubase resources could not be found, this is needed to run cubase" appears and cubase won't open. I have tried re-installing version 5 then 5.1 again and everything seems to be installed ok.The cubase resources file is where it should be in the cubase folder but can not be opened? Any help or advice would be well recieved. Cheers Olivaffair.

Akai S3000xl And Zip Problems.

Greetings, i have recently bought a Akai S3000XL and a Iomega 250mb parallel port zip drive. The problem occurs when i switch on the akai with the zip drive connected, akai says "waiting for hard disk ready..." and freezes, but if i boot from floppy, akai also freezes if i try to access the zip from the save pages.I have checked akai and zip manuals but to no avail so any help or advice would be well recieved. Midi Keyboard & Sysex Failing!

Im running a Mac g4 with cubase version 5, a roland jv-1080 and a roland pc-300 midi keyboard plus a midiman midisport 2x2. The problem is when i have got so far into writing a new song (usually after i've recorded some audio?) the midi keyboard stops working and cubase stops recieving sysex but the jv still works unaffected? any advice on this would be much appreciated as its a serious mush burner!
