Style-based Arranger For Mac Os X

I am on the lookout for a Pro-quality Style-based Arranger/Auto-accompaniment software for Mac OS X. I tried BIAB but did not like the quality of the styles when compared to those on Roland E series arrangers.

I have been searching for a software Midi File player where I could orchestrate in real time just like Roland's DisCover 5M which has 72 'Covers' or ready-to-use templates.

Help in obtaining such a software would help greatly as the DisCover 5M is too expensive an alternative.

I need various versions of SMFs for my shows as I am a singer.

I have a PowerBook G4 12.1" and a BOSS GI-20 Midi Guitar Interface. I am contemplating buying Reason 3.0 but am not quite sure whether I'll be able to use Reason as a guitar synth (instead of a hardware synth module).

I have installed OS X Tiger on my PowerBook G4 12.1". Is installation of OMS 2.3.8 necessary in Tiger? I intend using Roland GI-20 as a Midi USB interface for Yamaha QY100.
