Using Spdif Cables With Tascam 1804

Please any one help me,
I have mac os x with Logic 7 Express and Tascam 1804 for Live recording and using Core Audio 18 input / 12 out put.
The analog is 8 in ,Adat 8 in and SPDIF cable is used for the 17th and 18th input. When is conected is ni working and Logic 7 Express input is only from 1 to 12 inpt so PLEASE WHAT DO IDO TO MAKE IT WORK?

Mixng And Mastering Software

I am just about finishing my recording project so now after the over dubs I want to know your advice for mixing and mastering also which software do you advice me to use?
I am a Mac OS X beginner , I am use to Sound Forge on windows before I swish to Mac so Help Anyone.

Recording Live Band With Logic 7 Express

Please can anyone help? I am recordng my band with my MACOS X G4 using Logic 7 Express Audio only and no MIDI.
With Tascam FW-1804 using Core Audio and I can only use 8 audio inputs. In Tascam manual says you can have 18 inputs that include 4 XLR INPUTS,4 LINE INPUTS,2 MIDI INPUTS & 8 ADAT INPUTS ALL makes 18 inputs.
My Question now is How can i get to use all the 18 audio inputs and not use midi and Adat input since I dont have Adat machine and since am not using Midi?
I have a big band to record live and we are using my Mackie Console Mixer 24 trck 8 buss so i realy to use the 18 inputs or more.

Logic Express Tascam FW1804 and a live band

Help please some one.
I have Mac OSX G4 and TASCAM FW-1804 that we just setup in my Studio to for now only to record my Big band live.
I am only doing Analog also using Logic 7 expsess and we mic all the musical instruments and open Logoc 7 Express is only showing us 4 audio input so I need help I want to know how to record the band live and to open all the audio tracks inputs to be able to record the band live.
Please Help.

Analog Recording With Macos X And

I am new to this page but I need help please any one.
I just setup MacOS X With TASCAM fw-1804 ALSO WITH lOGIC 7 EXPRESS am starting Live recording using Tascam 1804 and i want to use all the 18 input. My Question is how do i go with recording live and where do i get the input cables.
