Are there any midi accompanyment softwares out there for mac that are similar to band in a box but can produce arrangements that are more current than 1977?
Does anyone have experience with this new usb soundcard (tascam us-122)? It claims "zero latency" but I've been warned about the general slowness of usb. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Does anyone have experience or know of a good Macintosh loop-based program that is similar to ACID? I've tried the demos for Phrazer (heinous interface), Live (hard to understand) and reCycle and phatmatik pro (which are cool, but make you slice up the samples yourself).

has anyone used a PC emulator with ACID with any success?
