Trigger Different Midi Channels Within A Track

Hello,
I currently own Miroslav Philharmonik sound library and within this app there are multiple articulations of an instrument available on different midi channels. I would like to trigger different midi channels within a track so say, I have 4 different string instrument articulations such as legato, pizzicato, staccato, portato for instance and I want to trigger certain ones--one at a time--within a single track as this is how a single instrument behaves. I have my doubts about Garageband but maybe Logic Express or some other software?

Changing Midi Channels In Gb

Hello,
how does one assign or activate different midi channels in Garageband within one track? I want to activate different midi channels available in Miroslav Philharmonik. How do I go about doing this?
