I was wondering why I don't hear anything through my monitors when I turn on the audio interface (a Firewire 410)?
I figure it must be something simple. Thanks.

Audio Interface W/ Logic Pro7

Hi,
Which audio interfaces, preferably firewire, are compatible with Logic Pro 7? I am torn between Motu's 828mk2 and M-Audio's Firewire 1814 or anything that costs less. I don't need too many ins/outs, just something reliable for some mic/instr inputs with LP7 & garageband.

Mbox With Logic Pro 7 & Gb?

I was wondering if it was possible to use Digidesigns Mbox as the audio/midi interface in Logic Pro 7 and Garageband. ??? I don't know if it would work or not, if not I guess I'm looking to get the 828mk2... thnx.

Motif & Dp

Can you use all the sounds / voices from hardware synths like the Motifes in sequencers like Digital Performer? I am so new to this so bare with me. I know you can play general midi from a synth in a recording sequencer, but that was a long time ago for me. Plus, can you use the Motifes to control soft synths and plug ins? Thanx

Or does everyone recommend just getting a midi controller keyboard like the ones from m-audio and use plug ins for the sounds?

Garageband

I was wondering if Garageband is included when you purchase a new G5 with OSX Panther, or do consumers have to purchase iLife? to get it?
