Im having loads of problems wtih my 002r and logic setup. Everything used to be fine but then i recentrly recieved a new g5 to replace my old one. which came with a os x system of 10.3.5 and installed the newest digicore drivers. I think these 2 things either conflict with my digi hardware. Before i was running something else earlier than 10.3.5 so i think my next look before i try a older digi core driver 6.4 is to reinstall everything with a older os x version. IF YOU USE LOGIC/MAC/ AND A 002R/002 could you please list your OS X version Computer model digi core version Logic Version And state any problems if you have any. Thx a lot this will surely help me a lot! umm i guess i'll start first OS X 10.3.8 dual G5 1.8, 1.5gigram digicore 6.7 logic 6.4.3 Problem:error trying to sync audio and midi thx!
hi.. this problem started about 2 weeks ago. here's my setup logic 6.4.3 g5 dual 1.8 1.2 gig ram 002 rack ok sometimes when either i load up a logic song. or when im in a song. when i hit play the song will just sound staticy,i mean really bad. like when you drop the buffer lower than 256 or something. Ive noticed when i change this setting to 512 it works sometimes.. and sometimes not.. (by the way i used to use 512 with no prob.) it's just weird. sometimes i have to close logic and power off/on the 002 rack. I think it's a problem with the core audio driver or something. But i just don't understand why it started happening out of the blue. can anyone help? could it be the update to osx 10.3.7? and if so how do i reinstall an oder version of osx? thx sal
hi. i've been having this problem for a while now and finally decided to post this question to see if someone can answer it. Well here goes. In logic mixer view i have my faders in 2 rows , top and bottom (since i have 100 audio tracks) everything is cool and fine but from time to time i notice my faders from the bottom like to move upward.. the whole row! and then sometimes it overlaps them just a little. Why does it do that? to get to mixer view i use the screen lock feature with my num lock keys. Any suggestions?
thx
Hi everyone! this is my problem.. I had one of the first g5's with the noise problems and all that good stuff.. well let me get straight to the point. There was something wrong with it and in a 3 month period apple finally decided to send me a new mac (g5 dual 1.8 ) After reinstalling logic i noticed before on the old mac, the startup logic splash screen used to read optimized for g5 ( or something similiar to that) now it says optimized for g4! Is there any way to change this? when i go into the hardware preferences you can select what type of processor you have.. generic or g5 is what used to be there. now i just see generic and g4. Is there anything i can do? Could this be affecting some performance? thx sal
does anyone know how to use the open recent function in logic pro? when i highlight it nothing shows up. emagic sent me a resolution of how to fix it but im new to mac so i wasn't sure.
email.....
please remove the logic preferences file from the preferences folder. start logic and quit it again. in order to create a new preferences file. not the open recent menu should be functional again. now...
where is the logic preferences file? and in which preferences folder???
thanks sal
