hope someone out there can help me regarding rme hammerfall.

does that multiface box have its own AD/DA converters inside? if so, how do they compare with the ones inside their ADI series stuff? if i get the multiface and cardbus do i need another peice of gear for pro-AD/DA conversion??? such as the ADI stuff from the same company rme, who i am growing increasingly attracted towards. somebody out there using just the multiface with a powerbook g4??? if so, see also my previous posting about the bandwidth issue, and tell me how you are using it and what kind of results you are getting.

this page documents tests done on the 400/500mhz g4 powerbooks vs the newer 550/667mhz g4 powerbooks that find that logic runs FAR BETTER on the older powerbooks because apparently, the bandwidth spec is better and allows for a greater number of realtime activities or something like that. i don't know much about computers. but this seems important! check this page:

http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/systems/PowerBo...ake3.html#logic

someone out there please confirm or comment on this as i believe it concerns a great many of us.

tanks.
