Logic 6 Express And Tiger

recently upgraded my laptop to a 1.5 ghz titanium with tiger installed, loaded logic express 6 which i use for live gigs and writing whilst on the road and lost my exp24 and evp73, also the program will not let me start up th "stat up assistant" telling me that i have no usb key! anyone else come across this and if so have you found a solution to this problem?

Exs Multi Channel

Just wondering if anyone is having problems running exs in logic pro 6.4.1
When i route sounds to the auxileries they don't play correctly(sound distorted)
and it also causes the system to become unstable.

(the problem is intermitent.)

Motu 2408 + Cubase 5

I have just purchased a 2408 mk ii to accompany my O2R desk which is equipped with 2 tdif cards, i have the cards assigned to bank a and bank b on the motu and when running logic and reason am having no problems.I am synchronising using word clock and having the O2 as the master, unfortunately my studio partner is using cubase. Cubase is not recognising the multiple outputs except for on the master fader. Also, after about 10 seconds of sending audio out of the tdif outputs just goes silent, Any ideas much appreciated.

Usb To Serial???

i have just updated my mac to a g4 blah blah.....
and am using a unitor 8 as a midi interface, however with the g4 not having a serial port i was wondering if there were a way to convert from usb to serial using an external device/cable. the interface wasn't cheap and to replace it won't be either! any advice much appreciated (ps i can give all my knowledge of tantric in exchange ha ha)

is there a logic e-manual availible for download anywhere??

any links much appreciated.
