Akai And Imac

Greetings music macers,

I have question about using an i-mac with usb ports and an akai S2000 with the MESA software. Does anyone know if it's possiable to hook up the Akai and the Mac to run the Mesa software by means of a SCSI-USB adapter, and if so which adapter would work?
