Hello,

I am now the proud owner of Reason 2.5, Midiman Oxygen 8 midi controller and a MOTU 896, which came with Audiodesk 2......

Now, what I am wondering is what are my options for getting the Reason sounds into Audiodesk for mixing with my instrument recording(guitar, drums, etc.)???

I am using a powerbook G4 800....anyone who can help please do.... biggrin.gif

thanks a lot, instrument

Hello....

I just recently got the 896 and am still waiting for the Audiodesk 2 software to get here, but I got my Behringer B1 and thought that maybe i could just plug the mic in and moniter through the headphone out. However, there is no sound coming out and the LED's remain lifeless...

Is it necessary to have AD2 ao DP4 or whatever sequencing software to hear the 896?? For some reason with all the gain knobs i thought it might be possible to just directly moniter...without needing software.....am i wrong? if so....coould you go a step further and explain to me why the 896 needs the software....thanks alot.....instrument

p.s. this is cool......

Hello.....

I just read in a post at unicornation that Audiodesk 2 harbors Rewire support. I am seeking further confirmation of this....my goal is to mix a band with Reason using the 896 and if I can run Reason in Audiodesk 2, why would I even invest in DP4? Also, does this mean that I could use Oxygen 8 to control Reason when it is slaved to Audiodesk? Thanks for any inout /advice you may have.... smile.gif peace
