Ok, here we go. I have 2 Macs. An iMac 800Mhz with 768MB Ram & an iBook G3 800Mhz with 384MB Ram. I am running the very latest OSX 10.3.4 and I have previously used both of them to record music through the Griffin Powerwave. BUT, suddenly the Powerwave no longer works. I’ve tried everything… checked all the settings, etc. It shows up in ALL the right places (Sound Control Panel, Audio/Midi Input, the System Profiler and even within the applications themselves (Garageband & Logic). When I plug the headphones and test the sound I get nothing. When I use the keyboard volume I get a faint static crackle. I’m thinking it has something to do with Panther, but cannot imagine why and have scoured all message boards, everywhere for help. Anyone… Anyone…
Thanks, Jim
Does anyone else use the Griffin Powerwave? I'm trying to use it with Garageband and I'm getting horrible results. Feedback, delays, channels dropping out. Let me know...
Thanks, Jim
anyone tried using these two together? i'm trying to run them on my iMac 2002 and need to use iMic for input.I cannot seem to get the application to recognize the iMic. I can set the iMic in the sound preferences and see the levels in the preference window. I can also find the iMic in the device setup in the application, but there is mention of ASIO drivers and when I select the iMic it tells me that there are no inputs.
