I am using Deck 3.5. I start a new audio session, and the first 2 or 3 tracks (about 2 mins. each) record without problem. But then, for no apparent reason, when I record the 3rd track, it is all distorted. Nothing is changed between the 2nd and 3rd track. If I open up a new session and record in that, the 1st and 2nd tracks are, again, fine, but then the 3rd (or anything after 3rd) is bad. What could be causing this? Is it a memory issue? But I have plenty of RAM (over 600MB) and Deck is the only program open. I am only recording an acoustic-electric guitar, using an Edirol UA-3D input. Also, I have a partitioned HD and am recording to a separate partition. (I have a TiBook 400, running 10.2.3) thanks for any help!
I just got Cubase SX, and cannot get my Edirol UA-3D to work with it.
As far as I know, there is no ASIO driver for Edirol UA-3D, it works with the Core Audio. (I had success with this using Bias Deck and the Edirol.)
When I launch Cubase, it automatically chooses the internal microhpone (of my TiBook). How do I change this? (How do I use a USB audio interface that does not have a dedicated ASIO driver?)
If I go into "Device Setup" and then click the ASIO driver tab, the Edirol appears there, but when I try to select it I get a popup window syaing "No ASIO driver error."
Help! Thanks!
