For your plug-ins you need carbon versions, check the updates from the editors.

Very basic info on VST plug-ins:

Format of plug-in issued by Steinberg, stands for Virtual Studio Technology as they spit all the time in their marketing talktalk.
It allow third party software to access/process/in both directions audio from a VST host (Cubase and others), they can also be automated in MIDI.

If you need to know more than that you should be developer laugh.gif
