Nope, FL is not available for Mac. But I think Reason works just like FL and is available for Mac. They just came out with a new version, Reason 2.5.
Don't have Reason though, just FL on a crappy PC. sad.gif

Ok, thats what I thought.

I love FL, really cool and simple program. I think I need a tutorial for reason, cuz I tried it once and couldn't do anything that I wanted.

Actually, the comparable program to FL on mac is Phrazer or better yet Live. Reason offers more features but these apps were designed specifically for loop based production. wink.gif

But Live doesn't have all those drums, strings and things does it? (sorry for my bad explanation, I'm German hehe)

Live is a sequencer... specially designed for loop manipulation so if you have loops of drums, strings etc in audio format... you can arrange them easily with tempo stretching in Live... no I don't think Live comes with these samples though.

I sent an e-mail asking the FL team why it wasn't ported to Mac, no answers yet.

I'll try to find Phrazer and/or live to try it out, thx.

If you buy Live, you get several hundred megabytes of professional loops from a couple of respected audio labs - drums, keys, instruments etc - on the installation CD. I think they might even have added something else recently, some kind of special offer. Anyway, you can start using Live with sounds straight out of the box.

Oh that's nice!
I like the idea to do recording and looping in the same program.
The only prob I just had (tried the Demo for a few mins) was that I couldn't get it to record... wink.gif

One question concerning the loops from Live.
In what form do you get the loops? The drums for example, do they come split up in like bass drum, snare, cymbal... (FL style) or are they already mixed up together into one big drum part?
