Im looking to buy a Dual 2 Ghz G5 and Logic Platinum 6.x

-Now I wanted to know, I like to use 64 audio tracks, what are some good hardware that can callibrate or sync with Logic on a Mac. I mean mixers, monitors or anything else. Sorta like the pro tools for the pc that has all the monitors and stuff (the hd is too expensive so im trying the mac/logic combo)

any help appreciated!

I think i'm in the same as boat as you (I was a PC user til I started reading about the G5, now i'm saving my money). I'm really excited about delving into Logic. It seems like such a robust program. I was originally going to go with a Digi002 setup with the plan of using it for my audio and Logic mostly for midi. But, Pro Tools is a little expensive for my budget. I think a better system for me (and maybe you) is with Logic and a MOTU 828mkII. I've also been spending a lot of time at Native Instruments website, Reaktor looks pretty amazing.

If your on a budget and dont mind having a 2 channel I/O then I would recommend the Digidesign M BOX. It also includes the software (Pro Tools Le V6.0). It syncs with Logic wonderfully and for audio editing its a dream. If your considering a firewire audio interface the MOTU line is also highly recommended...especially if your considering a multi channel I/O with seperate pre-amp control.
