Motu 828 Cubase Sx Options

I am trying to get a motu 828 running in cubase sx

The device is present in os x system preferences but it is not in the device list of cubase is there a device listing panel that i am missing or something.

I have recently transferred from pc to mac and need a little bit of help setting up
