I have pro tools le 5.2 up and running in os 9, but am considering moving to 6.0 for osx. Problem is, I have a ton of plugins for 5.2. Someone told me that I wouldn't be able to use any of these in 6.0. is that true?

Very true old mate
New plug ins are needed for Pro Tools 6. There's a list of the compatible ones on Digidesign's web site. There is also have a new anti-piracy measure via a USB key. This comes with your plug in in order to authorise it. All very technological! I personally would suggest you stick with Pro Tools 5 for now. 6 still has a few bugs that need fixing. 6.1 is a lot better, but there's still thins to be done. hope that helps Mike |

Thanks! Been wondering too if the jump should be made yet. I haven't bought any plugins for 9 but I think I'll stick with what works on an ibook600 and no need for the usb key.
Still I do need a dither plug, hum... -------------------- Without shit, we wouldn't be here ;)
