Any ideas on how to sequencing effective strumming guitar in MIDI. I am running Performer 6.03 using a Korg Sp100 keyboard as the controller and a Yamaha TG 100 tone generator.

Take a look at the "Acoustic & Electric Guitar" from:
http://www.keyfax.com/keyfax/prdct.html

I'm pleased with it.

I sequence my guitar parts by recording them just the way they are played, rather than playing a chord on the keyboard I:
enter the notes of the chord one at a time and space the notes between 4/96 to 20/96 apart(depending on desired effect) Also on the upstroke I put them in backwards but
only use the the last 3 or 4 notes.its a little time consuming
at first (til you get used to it) but once you get some in you can copy them, and transpose them to different chords.
you can also download midi files off the internet and if you
find a sound you like(recomend anything by mark knopfler)
and copy down the settings at the begining of the guitar
channel. but make sure you have a file that sounds real.
From there on out its just a labor of love, Tweeking
everything till you get it like you want it.
then you need to make a copy disk of your favorite
chords and sounds so you can use them on other songs

ENJOY!!!
