does the g4 imac or loigic 4.8 have any software already there which converts mp3's and wavs to aiff's. i should of just stuck with my acoustic guitar smile.gif

logic... no but imac should have itunes which will convert aiff to mp3 and mp3 to aiff (must setup in preferences) and I think it will convert .wav files too.

Logic 6 (due for release this month) can export/import mp3 files.

Cubase SX also handles mp3 files.

Cheaper than both Logic and Cubase is Sound Studio 2.0 (felt tip software), which will do the conversions and a whole lot more. Well worth $49.
