hi,

not so long ago i've bought the 5 upgrade and then the 5.5 from
Emagic site. but i have a little problem and i hope someone
can help me!

here we go; in the first days when i inserted an audio instrument,
say ES M, and then on the little down arrow next to the bypass
switch i was able to choose an program/setting/patch directly
from there. since some days now, there's no more such options and
i must open several windows in order to find the plug-in settings folder.

i just want to know if there's an option or a setting to do in Logic or OSX
to get back to the system like before

thanx

Is your Logic 5.5 in the same folder that Logic 5 is in?
If the 5.5 upgrade was installed in a different folder it will have a different folder of plug-in settings.

i have only the 5.5 version wich i've downloaded from Emagic. the plug-in settings folder is situated in the Logic 5 serices folder. in fact, every Logic related folder is situated in that folder.

So you have a logic folder, which when opened you can see the Logic 5.5 application and a folder called "Plug-In Settings". You haven't moved the Logic application from this folder?

When you open the "Plug-In Settings" folder can you see folders called "ES E", "ES P" and "ES E"?
