I'm using a MOTU 896 firewire interface, and daisy-chained from this is a MOTU 828. I'm using the Mac OS X version of Logic, currently at version 5.5.0. In Logic, I can't seem to get it to address both of these devices simultaneously so that i can use all 16 inputs at the same time. In Logic's Audio Hardware & Drivers window, there is a menu to select a Core Audio interface. Both of them show up in this menu, but i can only select one of them.
Is there any way to do what i'm trying to do? i sure hope so.
If you've been able to do the above, please let me know how!

This version of the MOTU FireWire audio driver does not
support the operation of multiple MOTU FireWire audio
interfaces under a single global audio clock source. As a result,
most currently available audio applications for Mac OS X will
only support the use of one MOTU FireWire interface at a time.
Visit www.motu.com for information about future updates that
will support multiple units. Guess you'll have to wait for the next version of the driver. JV
