Sidestepping Oms In Logic, how do I use Logic instead of OMS?

Newbie Groupe : Members Messages : 3 Inscrit : 09 août 02 Lieu : Goleta - US Membre n^o 6,715	I'm sick of trying to make OMS work with my Midisport 2x2. Is it true that you can set up Logic to recognize and communicate with external devices without using OMS? If some kind and patient soul could walk me through that I would really appreciate it. Here's what I'm working with: - Mac G4 - OS 9.2 - Midisport 2x2 - Alesis QS7 (to be used as a midi controller and external synth) - roland JV 1080 (to be used as external synth only) - Logic 4.8.1 P.S: If anyone is interested in my sob story of how OMS doesn't like me, I would love to share and get input, but I've basically given up on it.
