Hi guys.
I am new to this place and I am wondering about some things. to describe my situation, I will not be using Logic Pro x. I will be only using Mainstage as module for my keyboard midi controller. I may use this in live situation. but I won't load the mac with too many vsti I will use few built in Vsti on Mainstage and pretty much use it as a module. do you guys think a MacBook air is capable of this job? And yes, It must be a laptop. thanks |

no question. good to go. i'd add a decent audio interface, or at the least a stereo direct box to step down the headphone output.

Your MPB has a digital out, so you do not need to add another out !
You just need to buy the cable ! Concerning MainStage ; can it uses VSTI, I doubt ! may be if you use a VSTI to AU converter ! I use AU with it You need to have room to load the AU you will use I use MainStage on a 12 core, when I start it I have an Overload but after it works OK |
