Hey, I am mixing an album and my client(s) are in two different countries. Up until now we have been using skype to communicate, but I want to make a better streaming experience so they can be more objective to what they are hearing in realtime.
I don't want my DAW running the software to handle this, so I will pipe the output into a Windows 7 box and set up a broadcaster there, and the clients have computers of both mac and pc platforms. I was thinking shoutcast for the server, but I am unsure about the privacy level and cross platform ability of shoutcast. Any thoughts and recommendations??
regards, keny
