I'm an avid garageband user, and my band is about to record. If anyone knows, are there any mixers that send out separate tracks through usb? I was looking at the edirol m-100fx, will that work huh.gif ? Please help me!

you can buy one of the Alesis MultiMix USB Mixers at www.djmart.com or any other online retail store (just google it) starting at $149 which is a GREAT deal for good quality. it also comes with recording softwear and (depending on which version you buy) prerecorded FX.

sorry i forgot you were looking for one that records seperate tracks.. i'd look for ones by behringer or numark.

http://www.behringer.com/
(will come out later this year)

http://www.numark.com/

not sure if both record seperate tracks but its worth a look.

Go for Mackie Onyx series with a firewire card. Even the small one (1202) outputs 12 tracks at one go via firewire straight into your software and if you decide to upgrade to a more professional software it´s fully compatible. I´ve been using an Onyx since they were released and it´s never glitched ! Can´t say the same for the software...
