Hello. My name is Adonis. I recently upgraded my M-Powered Pro tools to 7.3., which includes a signal tool plug-in called Phase Scope. I'm not sure how to properly use it. I did find a signal tool plug-in PDF @ digidesign's site, but it was very vague. If there is anyone out there that can help me understand how to properly use this tool I would greatly appreciate it.

It's actually not vague...it's just that easy!

Place it as an insert on the track you want to check the phase of. Click the Phase button in the options at the bottom left. Both the Phase and Lissajous display the same information basically, but the Lissajous meter is more intimidating looking. On the Phase meter you'll want the green dot to be at or to the right of zero. The further left of zero the dot is, the more the signal is out of phase, which will lead to a thin sound and you'll lose mono compatability (if that's important to you... in most cases mono compat is a good idea). Purely mono sources will be all the way to the right at +1, zero means a stereo source that is in phase.

The important thing to remember is that zero or to the right is good, left of zero is usually bad.
