Hi im newbie on this, i would like to know if there is any application better than AUDACITY to use VST plugins....Of course i now cubase and nuendo, but the requirements are high for me.

my mac is an iMAC 500 MHZ (G3) , 256 RAM, running PANTHER right now

the reason i ask this i'ts because, i can't find any professional software for this mac, i know, maybe it's old right now, but please, if someone knows anythin about any better app, i would really appreciate that information or advice.

Thanks!

This might be helpful.

I'm not sure about Mac G3, but Plogue Bidule will run VSTs... It's not the same sort of thing as Audacity, rather it lets you wire together various plug-ins and route between things.

http://www.plogue.com/

I think it's free to download (sharware), and works well on my MacMini (and PC!)

It might also be worth looking around KVR , too.

How about DeckLE? It comes bundled with VST plugs, will run on a G3, and is inexpensive.
