After a lot of trial and error with a lot of different mics, I can honestly say that the Audix D6 (kick mic) offers the best representation of a Bari Sax. Beefy lows. Crystal, oomphy highs. Low bleedover. Good stuff.

Are you try SD systems ? The LCM 89 or 85 sounds good !
